The first thing needed before considering live-streaming your event is to check with your venue, officiant, and musicians(if applicable) to ensure that all parts of your day are allowed to be streamed and as a common courtesy to those who will appear on camera.

* Especially now, many photographers, videographers, and even DJs are offering live-stream packages! Trust the experts to take care of having the right equipment, set-up, and software!

* Facebook Live, Instagram, or YouTube? Think about who the majority of people will be watching your stream and what platform will be the most easily accessible. We recommend either Facebook or YouTube to ensure your stream saves and you have the ability to download it after (unless you save it right away, Instagram Live videos disappear after 24 hours.)

* If you opt to live-stream on your own, it is still important to put someone in charge of the process. Messing with microphones and camera angles is the last thing you want to deal with on your big day! So find your most tech savvy friend or family member and kindly ask them to help.
